Aikido Schools of Ueshiba (ASU) is an international organization that was founded by Mitsugi Saotome.
Saotome Shihan (master instructor) is the last and longest tenured (15 years) live-in student of Aikido’s Founder Morihei Ueshiba. He is a world renowned martial artist and acknowledged Aikido Master. ASU has a cadre of senior level instructors, who under Saotome Shihan’s direction, travel extensively to the organization’s network of dojos to assist with student instruction. These knowledgable instructors provide seminars and workshops throughout the year.
Paradaisu Aikikai is part of ASU and is guided by the organization’s senior instructor, here is a partial list:
